DNS server Installation And Configuration by Anas Amin

DNS or Domain Name System is a hierarchical distributed naming system of resources on a computer networks.
It's probably use to translate alpha numerical domain names into logical IP addresses that allow to access computers to commuicate.

DNS Server installation

Installation of a DNS server on a server that runs Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 and server 2012 operating system,

simply go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Server Manager. 

you can nstall DNS server simple follow these steps:

Step 1

Open Server Manager and click on Roles > Add Roles link, and proceed with the next...

Step 2

In the Select Server Roles, select DNS server, and then click Next. 

Step 3

click Next ... 

Step 4

Confirm installation Selections... 

Step 5

 When finished, simply click close.
